AGREEMENT FOR AFTER-HOURS ACCESS TO SHRINE CHURCH

1. Purpose and Conditions of Access

The Signatory agrees to comply with the following conditions for obtaining the access code to enter the Shrine Church after hours:

The access code provided to the Signatory is confidential and shall not be shared with any other person under any circumstances.

The Signatory shall not allow any unauthorized individual to enter the Church during after-hours access.
 

2. Responsibility for Property

While inside the Church, the Signatory agrees to:

Assume full responsibility for ensuring that no damage, theft, or inappropriate movement of property occurs.

Take all necessary precautions to ensure that all items within the Church are preserved and remain in their proper place.

Report immediately to the Church any incident of damage, theft, or improper movement of property.
 

3. Compliance with Canon Law

The Signatory agrees to adhere to all relevant provisions of Canon Law, particularly those relating to the sanctity, respect, and proper use of sacred spaces. The Signatory shall not engage in any behavior or actions contrary to the teachings of the Church or that may cause disruption to the sacred nature of the Shrine Church.
 

4. Liability and Indemnification

The Signatory agrees to assume full liability for their actions within the Church premises and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Church, its employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the Signatory’s actions or omissions during their after-hours access.
 

5. Termination of Agreement

The Church reserves the right to revoke the Signatory’s access to the Church at any time if the terms of this Agreement are violated. Upon revocation, the Signatory shall immediately return any keys, codes, or other access materials.

6. Governing Law
 

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Calgary.
