Little Flowers 
and 
Blue Knights

Through the Little Flower and Blue Knight programs, children will engage in their Catholic Faith, by developing virtues and gifts through the exploration of scripture, saint biographies, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Children will take part in activities, crafts, games, songs, and fellowship.

​

The target audience for these groups is 5 to 11; however, we welcome those who are slightly younger and older. Children younger than the target age will rely on their parent for extra help, and children older than the target age tend to take on leadership roles.

​

This is a parent and child focused group, where parents are asked to be involved as much as possible. 

​

The cost for this program is $50 per child to cover the cost of your child's sash, badges, and individual activity book. For returning children who don't need a sash, the cost is $35. Registration and payment can be made at the church after any Mass this upcoming weekend, Sept 7th and 8th.

This group will gather on Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 7:15 pm approximately twice per month, from late September through to early May: Sept 26, Oct 10, Oct 24, Nov 1, Nov 7, Nov 28, Dec 5, Jan 9, Jan 23, Feb 13, Feb 27, Mar 13, Mar 27, Apr 10, May 1, May 8 (only if needed)

Children's Liturgy​​​

Come join us on the first and third Sunday of each month from September 15th until June 15th at the 9:30 am Mass. We will explore the Gospel readings through song, games, activities, and drama. This program is intended for ages 2 through 10. Parents are welcome to come with their children. This is a wonderful way to gather at the same Mass time as families with children in the parish. Children start in the sanctuary until Father gives a blessing just prior to the first reading. We go to the church hall to explore the gospel in a child-focused manner. We then return to the sanctuary to help bring up the gifts before returning to our seats in the sanctuary to participate in the rest of Mass together. No preregistration required. Just show up!

Children's Christmas Pageant

Children of all ages are welcome to join in the live nativity this year. We will start practice on November 19th. We will have 4 to 6 practices and then come together on December 15th at 1:30 pm to share this drama and song production with the community. We will then gather in the church hall after for a snack potluck. There are speaking and nonspeaking roles. Practices are from 6 pm to 6:45 pm. Practices: Nov 19, Nov 25, one of Dec 3 or 4, Dec 9, and Dec 12
