OUR LADY OF THE ROCKIES PARISH

This second annual Marian Week  in the Rockies invites pilgrims from across the Diocese to gather in Canmore and Banff during the blessed Jubilee Year of St. Francis. Pilgrims are invited to rediscover God’s presence through prayer, community and the beauty of the natural world.

Participants may come for a day, a weekend or the entire week, building their own pilgrimage at their own pace. Everyone is welcome, and pilgrims may come and go as their schedules allow.

Marian Week begins on Sat, Aug 15, with the Solemnity of the Assumption Mass at St. Mary’s Parish in Banff, celebrated by Bishop William T. McGrattan. It concludes on Sat, Aug 22, with the Feast of the Queenship of Mary Mass at the Shrine Church in Canmore, also celebrated by Bishop McGrattan.
