The Jubilee of Hope, as proclaimed by Pope Francis, is a Holy Year of spiritual renewal and grace, inviting all people to rediscover the hope that faith in Christ brings to a weary world. Set for 2025, this Jubilee calls the faithful to pilgrimage, prayer, and acts of mercy, symbolizing a time of reconciliation, forgiveness, and renewed commitment to the Gospel.

In this spirit, The Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Rockies has been designated by Bishop William McGrattan as an official Diocesan Pilgrimage Site for the Jubilee Year. This designation recognizes the Shrine as a sacred place where pilgrims can encounter God’s mercy, deepen their faith, and participate in the graces of the Jubilee, including the opportunity to receive a Plenary Indulgence under the conditions set by the Holy Father. Through this, our Shrine becomes a beacon of hope and healing for all who seek God’s presence in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
